AWARDS
Doing What’s Needed
During the 2016 and 2017 academic years the Mssdc hosted the awards program in shirilele high school and ripambeta high school respectively. This program was initiated with the purpose of motivating students academically. the program was successful on both of the schools whereby now the students that managed to get the awards are still doing well and some of them are now studying higher learning institutions such as wits university, some still holding number position in their respective schools now. The second goal of the program is to identity learners with potential at early stages and mentor them as well as to identify and motivate them with learning difficulties. In this 2019 academic year we are hoping to continue with program on the second term of this academic year. We will be rewarding students who would have worked hard in this 2019 second term examination especially on mathematics, physical sciences and accounting. We believe through your sponsorship/donation we shall achieve this goal and to keep on changing the lives of people living within mavambe community.d with this program.

LESSONS
Tackling the Issue
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.

#TAKE ME VARSITY
Making a Difference
MSSDC is the integral member of the Collins Chabane Municipality and we have been previously HASH TAG TAKE ME TO VARSITY PROGRAM. This program was initiated to assist the less privileged students and youth within our country especially in Limpopo at the Collins Chabane Municipality. During period of 2017 applications we have managed to assist more than 106 nsfas applicants and on the academic year 2018 we have managed to help about 95 students with nsfas applications. 2017 and 2018 again we have managed to assist more than 200 applicants for university admissions where some are got registered in various higher learning institutions. We are hoping to reach more students during the year 2019 and to engage with more schools as most of our communities are still less privileged. As our municipality is still new we are proud to be the assisting arm in reaching more communities within the municipality demarcation, however we shall also assist even the students in the province those in need of our help as we grow.
